Sprintometer 6.1 with merge of concurrent project changes on Sprintometer Server

New version v6.01 of freeware tool Sprintometer for Scrum and XP management is released on July 17, 2011.

New version supports automatic merge of project changes done concurrently by team members. The merge occurs on saving of project data to Sprintometer Server or periodically on timer event. This allows convenient work of big agile teams without concurrency conflicts and data loss. In rare cases when automatic merge is logically impossible a warning will be displayed and user can do data merge manually.

Sophisticated merge algorithm is implemented inside Sprintometer Client version 6.01 therefore it is not necessary to upgrade Local Sprintometer Server and it is also possible to use Public Sprintometer Server hosted by Sprintometer Ltd and available from any location with Internet access.

Information about registration and connection to Public Sprintometer Server is available in User Guide and in documentation section of Sprintometer Web site.
